The Pokémon Company has a Pokémon Presents showcase planned for July 22, promising viewers “the latest updates and news from the world of Pokémon.” It’s the second of these events in 2025 so far, following February’s Pokémon Day event.
The latest Pokémon Presents showcase will stream on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on Tuesday starting at 9 a.m. EDT/6 a.m. PDT. The Pokémon Company hasn’t yet said how long this Pokémon Presents event will be.
And while The Pokémon Company also hasn’t said what games will be discussed, we can probably expect an update on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which is coming to Nintendo Switch (and Nintendo Switch 2) on Oct. 16. That game will feature a new adventure set in Lumiose City in the franchise’s Kalos region, introduced in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
In February, The Pokémon Company announced a new game, Pokémon Champions, so hopefully we’ll get more details on that upcoming project. We can also expect updates on many of the ongoing live-service games featuring Pokémon, including Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, Pokémon Go, Pokémon Unite, and Pokémon Sleep. Beyond games, a second season of Pokémon Concierge is coming to Netflix in September, and the company has a follow-up to 2019’s movie Pokémon: Detective Pikachu in development.
No doubt The Pokémon Company will have a few surprises in store as well. After all, we’re approaching the third anniversary of the most recent mainline games in the franchise, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
